At the core of any service driven initiative is a willingness to provide positive change to the individual, family, and society without loosing sight of the intrinsic emotional and spiritual value of the person.<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

What is the underlying intention behind Dimensional Psychology? <\/strong>
Dimensional Psychology developed from a concept that evolved into a theory and eventually took shape with purpose and a simple goal: to change how we relate and understand our emotions and feelings within a given environment to empower the individual towards positive action.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Problem<\/strong> originated from a need for objective data or a more qualitative approach to emotions and feelings without the complex subjective nature that individuals and practitioners try to interpret through self help, studies, inventories, or traditional methods. Simply put,<\/strong> \"It is too hard to understand because the structure of data input is too complex and subjective<\/span>.”<\/p>\n

The Question:<\/strong> How can a system or model be created that makes emotions, feelings, actions, and observations easy to capture for individuals and practitioners across all modalities and then make it easy to understand?<\/p>\n

The Answer<\/strong> took shape over weeks or months and became functional on a sticky note in a bar and the \"The Most Interesting Man in Wilmington\" aka Dave. That inspirational moment required action that included returning to school to pursue the academic and clinical background to make this concept a reality. Additionally, the development of technology, data modeling, and applications to integrate the user experience and aggregated data allowing users and practitioners to interpret the data visually, objectively, and without interpretation was needed.<\/p>\n

The process transformed or, better stated, holistically evolved<\/em> into a solution that focused on the whole person, not the diagnosis<\/strong>, and the ability to use the observations and data to transform our understanding of who we are in all the dimensions of the human experience.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
